Il proibito. C’è una distinzione affascinante tra ciò che è proibito e ciò che è illegale. Questa risiede nella differenza del contesto e dell’autorità. Il contesto spesso plasma il modo in cui percepiamo ciò che è proibito. L’autorità, invece, detta le regole che scegliamo di seguire o rifiutare. Se tutto ciò che è illegale è per definizione proibito, non tutto ciò che è proibito è illegale. In questa quinto numero abbiamo voluto indagare questa sfumatura, che ci ha permesso di esplorare un’ampia varietà di idee e interpretazioni, riunendo contenuti che spaziano dall’arte al cibo, alla storia della sua rappresentazione, fino a fenomeni contemporanei come gli angoli più oscuri del dark web.
Abbiamo così attraversano territori ampi e specifici, ciascuno con lo scopo di evidenziare quegli aspetti proibiti che identificano oggi la nostra società. Domandandoci dunque, cos’è proibito oggi?

The Forbidden. There is a fascinating distinction between what is forbidden and what is illegal. This lies in the difference between context and authority. Context often shapes the way we perceive what is forbidden. Authority, on the other hand, dictates the rules we choose to follow or reject. If everything that is illegal is by definition forbidden, not everything that is forbidden is illegal. In this fifth issue, we wanted to explore this nuance, which allowed us to delve into a wide variety of ideas and interpretations, bringing together content ranging from art to food, to the history of its representation, and to contemporary phenomena such as the darkest corners of the dark web.
In doing so, we have travelled through broad and specific territories, each with the aim of highlighting those forbidden aspects that define our society today. Thus we ask ourselves: what is forbidden today?
